CIEL urges UNCITRAL to amend their arbitration rules to make investment disputes more transparent and participatory

The Center for International Environmental Law (CIEL) is participating
in the UNCITRAL Working Group on Arbitration convening in Vienna on September
10-14. CIEL is urging the Members of the Working Group to take note of
the rapid developments in the area of investment arbitration and to adapt
the currently inadequate UNCITRAL Rules to address investment arbitrations.
