Lindsay Fenlock
Senior Research
Lindsay Fenlock is a Senior Researcher in CIEL’s Climate and Energy Program, based out of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Her work focuses primarily on researching false climate solutions.
Prior to joining CIEL Lindsay worked as a journalist covering the environment and energy. She got her start at The Tico Times, Costa Rica’s English newspaper, and later continued covering stories throughout Latin America for publications like The Guardian, Al Jazeera and U.S. News and World Report. Much of her work focused on the overlap of human rights and environmental issues, including a number of projects focused on the global rise in killings of environmental defenders.
Lindsay attended Elon University in North Carolina where she got bachelor’s degrees in journalism and international studies. In 2017 she was named a Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism at the University of Colorado.
