Lindsey Jurca Durland

Communications Campaigns Specialist

Lindsey Jurca Durland (she/her) is a Communications Campaign Specialist with CIEL’s Fossil Economy Program. Based out of California, her work focuses on exposing the petrochemical industry for its role in threatening human health and precipitating the climate crisis.

Prior to joining CIEL, Lindsey worked as a consultant developing winning campaigns and communications at the intersection of health, environmental and social justice, water, and the climate.

Lindsey holds a Bachelor in Business, with an emphasis on Marketing and Communications. Hailing from a family of educators, she has taught in various academic settings, sharing her insights on sustainable communications and design, environmental service-learning, and the plastic pollution crisis.

When not working to halt the petrochemical buildout, she can be found sailing on, or swimming in, a salty body of water with her husband and daughter.
