Michelle Williams

Chief Financial Officer

Michelle Williams (she/her) joined CIEL in September 2022 as Chief Financial Officer. She is an accountant who specializes in nonprofit organizations.

Over the past two decades, she has worked for a wide variety of nonprofit organizations including GirlTrek, Baltimore Center Stage, Families USA Foundation, and So Others Might Eat; working her way up from staff accountant to CFO.

Along with her accountant’s mind is the heart of an artistic idealist. Her hobbies are creative writing and playing violin. She volunteers as a PTA officer (often in the unpopular treasurer role), Girl Scout leader, and Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteer.

She is a graduate of Howard University.
