Patrick Boyle
Corporate Accountability Attorney (Petrochemicals)
Patrick Boyle (he/him) is a Corporate Accountability Attorney for CIEL’s Fossil Economy Program. He is based out of the Washington, D.C. office. His work focuses primarily on developing legal strategies and supporting campaigns to hold the petrochemical industry accountable for the harms it causes .
Prior to joining CIEL, Patrick worked as a Bertha Justice Fellow for EarthRights International, where he supported litigation targeting corporations for environmental and human rights abuses committed both in the U.S. and abroad. He also worked as a legal fellow at the Center for Protest Law and Litigation where he supported litigation against police departments for targeting progressive activists and infringing upon the rights of protestors.
Patrick earned his J.D from UC Law San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) and received a B.A. in English from Tulane University. He is a member of the State Bar of California and the Bar of the District of Columbia, and he has litigated before both state and federal courts.
