Rossella Recupero

Communications Campaign Specialist

Rossella Recupero (she/her) is a Communications Campaign Specialist; she is based in the Geneva office.

Rossella’s work focuses on using strategic communications to advance objectives of CIEL’s Fossil Economy Program’s Global Strategy and the Human Rights and Climate Change Team.

Rossella joined CIEL in 2021; prior to that, she worked as communications officer in various NGOs both in Belgium and in the Netherlands, focused on sustainability, environmental protection, education, and youth policies. Her former experiences include intering for the Honorary Consulate of Senegal in Turin, as well as working in several local journals across Italy.

Rossella has a background in international relations, and she holds a master’s degree in economics of development, innovation, and cooperation from the University Sorbonne in Paris.
