Susann Kongstad
Administrative Assistant
Susann Kongstad (she/her) is the Administrative Assistant in CIEL’s Fossil Economy Program, based out of the Geneva office. Her work focuses primarily on supporting the Program Director and the Team so they can give all their energy to fighting to achieve CIEL’s goals. This includes administrative tasks, project and event coordination, and working with colleagues on organizing and streamlining the CIEL’s processes.
Prior to joining CIEL, Susann has worked at Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance as the Institutional Publications Coordinator, as the Event Process Coordinator at GF Machining Solutions and a Research and Administrative Assistant at the Standing Commission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent, as well as being a 9th grade teacher in social studies and history.
She holds a Bachelor in Political Science from the University of Oslo and a Master’s in International Relations and Diplomacy from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in London.
When not working on environmental and human rights issues, Susann can be found spending time with friends, reading, learning languages and watching football.
